Dr. juris Ellen Eftestøl is Professor of Civil and Commercial Law at the University of Helsinki and visiting Professor at the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law, University of Oslo. Her major teaching and research areas are related to International Commercial Transactions. She teaches inter alia contract law, law of obligations, tort law and carriage of cargo. She holds a particular interest in sustainability research.
