Dimitrios Tsikrikas is Professor of Athens Law School. He is a graduate of Athens Law School (with distinction) and PhD holder from University of Konstanz, where he studied as fellow of the German State Scholarship Organization.

His research activity concentrates upon the fields of civil procedure, international procedure and comparative procedural law. He teaches Civil Procedure, International and Comparative Procedural Law in undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Over the years he has authored several monographs and he contributed in numerous collective works in Greek, German, English and French. In addition, he has conducted and participated in several research programs, legislative committees and committees of the European Union.
